Roundtable conference on Need for Post-Release Rehabilitation Facility for Prisoners

This Round Table Conference was the first step in addressing the issue of "Need of Post Release Prisoner Rehabilitation Facility in India". The objective of this conference was to discuss the issues and difficulties prisoners face after their release and get the opinion of various stakeholders on ways to support and reform the prisoner. The ultimate goal is to establish a Post Release Rehabilitation Facility for Prisoners in partnership and support with stakeholders including media and corporate. This conference focused on practical issues involved in a prisoner’s life, particularly post his release. 25 participants from media, CSR, advocacy, law etc. took part in the conference from different organizations.
